This session is for FP&A leaders and professionals that want to improve their ability to work collaboratively with their Supply Chain / Operations teams to drive business performance.
Bill has his roots in finance and accounting, with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance from Northern Illinois University. After graduation, he earned his CPA and joined the Chicago office of Deloitte, where he worked with clients in a wide range of industries and sizes, primarily large global organizations. Eventually, he was recruited away to join a client, Kimberly-Clark Corporation (K-C) in their corporate finance organization. He gained extensive experience in F,P&A at all levels, from manufacturing, to business/brand management and global operations. While in an F,P&A role in $1.2 billion brand, he was assigned to lead the supply chain planning team to reduce inventories.
Bill attended several significant executive management programs at Michigan State University (for Supply Chain fundamentals), Penn State University (for supply chain strategy) and Thunderbird, The American School of Global Management.
He eventually led the supply chain portion of a go-to-market transformation of the North American Consumer business. Bill became a certified business process master and a change management coach. Following the transformation, Bill transferred to the strategy team where he had responsibility for Consumer products businesses in Europe and North America. He was recruited to help Marquette University start up a Masters program in Supply Chain Management, where he taught several graduate courses. While at Marquette, he also served as the Director of the Center for Supply Chain management.
Now, Bill focuses on advising companies on improving their processes and capabilities to drive improved performance and growth, through his firm, Act 3 Growth, LLC.
