Shortly we'll be hosting the webinar An introduction to Beyond Budgeting – Business agility in practice. We're interested to hear your experience with Beyond Budgeting and its principles.

I strongly encourage everyone who does budgeting to attend this webinar.  Beyond Budgeting is not a "method" or "solution".  It is really more of a behavioral approach or philosophy toward business planning, forecasting, and performance.   Because budgeting is taught to accountants fairly mechanically, the deeper thinking about the impact of budgeting on behavior and performance is often overlooked.   Beyond Budgeting delves into these issues in a very meaningful and practical way.

I encourage everyone to take the time to get a good explanation of the Beyond Budgeting approach which this webinar will provide.
