Skills and experience matter, but reliability is one of the qualities people remember most. Knowing someone will follow through builds confidence and strengthens every working relationship.

What habit has helped you become someone others can count on?

While skills and experience are important, I believe a few core qualities make a lasting impact on both professional growth and working relationships:

    1. Reliability – Doing what you say you will do and consistently following through on commitments.

    2. Resilience – Maintaining a positive attitude, adapting to challenges, and staying focused even during setbacks.

    3. Listening – Truly understanding others' perspectives before responding or acting.

    4. Reading & Comprehension (my favourite) – Continuously learning from different sources, understanding context, and connecting ideas effectively.

    5. Continuous Learning – A natural outcome of listening and reading well; staying curious and committed to personal and professional development.

Of these, reliability stands out because it builds trust. When people know they can count on you, stronger relationships and better collaboration naturally follow.

Thanks, Kushnabh. I really like how you connected reliability with listening and continuous learning. Skills help us grow, but consistency and trust are what make people want to work with us again. Great perspective!
