We all agree that paying more tax than necessary isn't usually the goal. Tax planning, deductions, credits, and other strategies can help individuals and organizations legally reduce their tax bills. But just because something is legal, does that automatically make it ethical?

    Put yourself in this position:

If a company discovers a completely legal strategy that would reduce its taxes by millions of dollars, but it seems to go against the spirit of the law, should it use it? Why or why not?

Does the answer change depending on whether we're talking about an individual, a small business, or a large multinational company?

Looking forward to hearing different viewpoints, there may be more than one "right" answer!
