I'm currently a Student Member of IMA and my membership is about to expire. I've now started working full-time and would like to transition to the Professional Member category.
Could anyone who's been through this process please share their experience:

1. How did you upgrade from Student to Professional membership?

2. Did you do the upgrade before or after your student membership expired?

3. Was there any additional documentation or eligibility criterion you needed to meet (e.g., proof of employment)?

4. Did your benefits continue seamlessly (e.g., access to CMA exam eligibility, member resources) after upgrading?

5. Any tips on renewal timing, possible fee difference, or things to watch out for?
