    David Belnap

    David Belnap is the founder and operator of My IDEAL CFO, a fractional CFO firm dedicated to helping businesses optimize their financial strategies through innovation and expertise. With a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and an emphasis in Operational Management from Idaho State University (2008), David has built an impressive career blending traditional accounting principles with cutting-edge technology.

    David holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Management Accountant (2012), Certified Public Accountant (Florida, 2021), and Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (2023). Additionally, he earned one of the first Accounting Analytics Certificates from Nova Southeastern University in 2022, showcasing his commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in financial analytics.

    Specializing in class accounting, David works extensively with industries such as real estate, property management, private charter transportation, and non-profit organizations. His expertise in merging technology with accounting drives process improvements that save both time and resources for his clients.

    Beyond his professional endeavors, David is passionate about bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry applications. He actively volunteers as a guest lecturer and panelist at universities and colleges in South Florida, contributing to the development of the next generation of accounting professionals.

    When he's not advising clients or giving back to the community, David enjoys collecting unicorns and dragons and spending quality time playing games with friends and family.
