I completed my CMA and got the official word mid-December, yay! 

Will they send a physical paper certificate in the mail, and how long does that take if so? I left a space for it when I redid my office so I sure hope they do

Did you also complete it on December? Where are you  based in US? I am curious if mine is delayed because I am currently based in Saudi Arabia. I cleared the exam and completed the education and experience requirements. I received an email of December 23 to expect to received it in approximately 8 weeks. In January 2, i received my badge. I followed up by sending an email to ima@... and they responded to the Certificate will be sent out approximately eight to ten weeks after your certificate number has been issued. As of today there is no update yet if the certificate has been dispatched.
