Hi, I have cleared both parts of CMA in Dec 2022,after that I have probably applied to 2000 jobs for the next 1.5 years but I could not land even an entry level job in the Finance field. I had a career gap before pursuing due to some family reasons and then another 2 years i was unemployed because I chose to do CMA thinking I will get a job in finance. I understand that the job market is not in a good condition. But now that I have seen it, I genuinely think that CMA or any other certification course is not for freshers at all. They may help people who are already in Finance related jobs but for freshers it is a bad decision. Institutes like these and coaching centres just make money out of all aspiring students but practically most of these certificates are useless. I would highly suggest to stay away from these courses unless you already have a good finance job and want to improve your skills and knowledge. The cost and burden of unemployment is a lot more than you can imagine. Hope this situation will only get better.
