    Hello fellow CMAs and candidates!

    I have a question regarding membership renewal. I'm currently pursuing my CMA certification and have 1 year left to complete the experience requirement.

    Is it necessary to renew my membership before receiving my certification? What are the consequences if I don't renew? Will the renewal amount double?

    I'd appreciate any guidance or advice from experienced CMAs. Thank you!

    As listed on page 14 of CMA Handbook your CMA membership has to be active and you need to complete 30hrs of CPE per year to maintain your certification.
