Hi everyone! I just recently got my CMA digital badge. And I want to utilize it but I don't know where to start. I applied different jobs but then their reply was always "not fit for the role". Can anyone suggest what should I do? And what role should I apply to practice being a CMA? Thank you so much.

The CMA designation will distinguish your application from other applicants, but if your experience does not match what the employer is looking for, then it will not make a difference. Start with determining your strength and accomplishments. Then put these on paper and sell these during the interview. Good luck.

Congratulations on earning your CMA designation.  Looking at your profile it looks like you also just recently finished your degree.  I was in the same spot as your 20+ years ago.  The CMA is a great credential to have.  It shows prospective employers that you are invested in getting and maintaining a high-level of competency.  It compliments but does not replace experience.

My progression over the years has been Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller and currently Controller.  Entry level accounting positions you might consider would be Staff Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Analyst Bookkeeper.

If I were you, I would look on Indeed.com or google management accountant jobs in your country or region etc. You can contact IMA in your region for job search tips. I hope this helps.
