  • 1.  How to get CMA- A depressed note

    Hi, Iam Abida,
    Yesterday was my CMA exam part1,
    Questions were familiar and i felt easy but unfortunately my exam ended after 3 hrs.
    This was my second attempt, and i have tried a lot but i dont know why, iam not scoring more though i know the concept.
    Can any one advice anything. Iam completely depressed.

    Hello Abida , good morning and hope your day is going well 

    No problem, don't feel bad it's okay to examine once , twice and even third and i'am sure that next time you'll pass inshallah. 

    You need to practice and solve many questions as much as you can , a friend of me told me recently that the IMA's retired questions is very important and also don't forget to solve Gliem.

    Hi,

    I am 43 YO, started CAM class in Sep 2022. I have worked in Finance function over 15 yrs, spent 80% for management accounting, controlling and magerial level as well. But my 1st part1 exam in Feb23 was ended after 3 hrs!)

    Currently, I am trying all my best to do practice for the next test in Jun23.

    Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst!

    Hello Abida,

    I also took my Part I on Saturday, the 25th and this was my third attempt after I tried 8 years ago. Just hang in there and keep studying and doing the practice exams. I found continuing practice exams helped me, not only with the MCQs but with the essays as well!

    Just keep plugging away!

    Hello Abida,

     

    I feel very sad after hear you don't worried about what you did in past ups & downs will come everyone's life we should learn from this things only just remember those things what you did in your last exam and analyze your self and highlight your strength & weakness Area so you should know your level of understanding and I think you already did self study and Its good idea to do self study but its always not work its depend on person knowledge & capabilities.

     

    If your understanding level is low then its fine you take coaching from reputed institute and practice a lot of questions and make sure check your grading after completing practice test & before appeared to real test CMA exam IMA always test you with different types of questions based on their concept. Try to be quick in practice so you will not lose your time and In test time try do first those questions which you know the correct answer other questions you can do later.
