Performance Management Shared Interest Group

#PerformanceManagement is about continuously finding better ways to improve how we work, make decisions, and create value.
We are a global group of volunteers within the IMA | Institute of Management Accountants. Our members come from different countries, industries, and organizations, but we all share one goal - to exchange practical experience and learn from one another.
Like many of you, we're not software developers or technology vendors. We're #finance and business professionals who deal with the same challenges every day: repetitive reports, manual processes, disconnected data, and limited time for analysis.
Over the past few years, many of us have discovered that modern digital tools can dramatically simplify this work. The interesting part is that many of these tools are already available in organizations today - they're simply underused because people rarely have the opportunity to see practical business examples of how they can help.
That inspired this initiative. Rather than discussing #technology in theory, we'd like our IMA Performance Management SIG sessions to focus on real business challenges submitted by professionals working in the field.
Perhaps you spend hours preparing the same report.
Maybe you're manually combining data from multiple files or systems.
Or perhaps there's a recurring task that makes you think: "There has to be a better way."

We'll review all submissions, group similar ideas together, and then invite everyone to vote for the topics they'd most like to explore.
The selected challenges will become the basis for future IMA Performance Management SIG sessions, where we'll demonstrate practical approaches using accessible digital tools that many organizations already have available today.

Our goal is to help business professionals spend less time on repetitive work and more time creating value.
