CMA Study Group

Hi all,

I need some clarification regarding my CMA exam situation. I haven't cleared any part yet.

My CMA entrance fee expires on August 30, 2026, and my IMA professional membership is valid until March 31, 2027.

I currently have my Part 2 exam registered in the May/June 2026 window, and I am planning to switch it to the September/October 2026 window using the Exam Switch Form.

My question is: If I pay the $150 switch fee to transfer my exam to the Sep/Oct window, and renew my entrance fee before August 30, will I be eligible to sit for the exam in the September/October 2026 window? Will it be considered valid?

I have already emailed IMA Member Services but haven't received a clear answer yet. Has anyone faced a similar situation? Please guide me.

Yes u can do that but better pay both transfer fee and membership fee at the same time after payment you will get an acknowledgement. I did the same thing.
