Maybe less relevant for Finance profession but this article does give a very interesting (international) perspective regarding female leadership and how art sector has struggled with creating the work circumstances (and culture) where they can be successful in their assignments.  

The female director of a museum close to my house was fired (Birgit Donker) because she created an unsafe working environment. The Rotterdam court recently ruled in her favour and concluded that her dismissal had been unfair. This case sparks a broad debate about leadership, workplace culture en governance in cultural sector.

The link works but it is requiring a subscription to read.

However, I found the news on an alternative website and I have to say I am very confused about the facts of the case. I wonder what had triggered the claim for unsafe environment to work.
