    Hello all,

I have qualified both parts of CMA US in 2023. So starting from this year I have to earn my CPE credits. However, I am not certified yet as I have to complete 2 years of work experience.

Could someone tell me exactly how many CPE credits I should earn this year, given that I'm not still certified?

    Hi,

I understand that every year you need to collect 30 CPE credits when you qualify for both parts of CMA. Maybe I am wrong. Community members, please correct me If I am wrong :).

    Hi

    you are right

CMAs need to complete 30 hours of CPE annually, with at least 2 hours in ethics.

You are correct. According to the CMA handbook once you have passed both parts of the exam but have not met the professional experience requirements, you have to meet the annual professional development requirement (30 CPE credits) and maintain your IMA membership.

    Hello
Since you have passed both parts of the CMA exam but have not yet completed the required two years of relevant work experience, you are not yet officially certified. The requirement to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits
only begins after you have received your certification.
