The idea of blending in sustainable practices in one's profession, businesses and people interactions can all make a difference. What about human skills , related to being able to quantify impact of not so sustainable practices, their long term ramifications and inherent costs of not reporting challenges or threats.
What about the ability to weigh the need for better Water Management in a major building and look beyond the numbers for about a few decades down the lane.
What about ability to be empathetic, articulate and being able to understand the impact of small actions, have discussions on topics like 'One Health' or even be aware and vocal about Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives and linking them to Sustainable practices. What about Sustainable Lifestyles?.
How about emission controls that can be achieved by just making sure there is enough greenery within each office desk? Quantifying them and then helping global bodies set standards?
Just some thoughts.
But as somebody who wishes to pursue this area in the future, the triad of technology , finance and true ESG mechanisms seem to be very exciting.
