Hello, Bhuban Chakroborty,
No, you do not need to get a 50% in each individual Section. You just need to get 50% of the MCQs in total correct in order to have the Essay section open up for you.
For preparing for the Exam, the best practice that works for most candidates is to study topic by topic by reading the Textbook (and watching the Videos if you have Videos) and then doing the MCQs for that same topic. Going topic by topic throughout the syllabus is at times slow, but this methodical approach is what makes certain that you cover the syllabus. If you do not have a specific CMA Textbook and Test Bank, I would recommend that you purchase whichever element that you are missing. Having both of these tools are the minimum. If you have these tools and have done what I outlined above, another thing that you can to help understand the questions better is that when you are practising them, try to make certain you can understand why the correct choice is correct, and not just know that it is correct. You can also study the incorrect answers to understand why they are incorrect and that will help you as well.
I hope that this helps in some small way as you prepare for your next attempt.
