Clarification on CMA Entrance Fee Validity and Final Exam Attempt Eligibility

  • 1.  Clarification on CMA Entrance Fee Validity and Final Exam Attempt Eligibility

    Posted 01-01-2026 02:31 AM
I recently received an email indicating that my CMA entrance period will be expiring soon. I would like to confirm my understanding of the entrance fee validity and exam attempt timing.

My CMA entrance fee was paid on 28 September 2023. Based on the guidance provided, I understand that the entrance period is valid for three years from the entrance date, i.e., until 28 September 2026.

Could you please confirm the following:

    1. That the entrance date refers to the date the CMA entrance fee was paid.

    2. That I am eligible to sit for CMA exam parts as long as the exam date falls within the three-year entrance period, even if the results are released after the entrance period end date.

    3. Specifically, whether attempting an exam part in the September/October 2026 testing window, provided the exam is taken before 28 September 2026, would be considered valid.

As my CMA entrance period is nearing its end, I need to make time-sensitive decisions regarding exam registration and preparation. I would appreciate your clarification at your earliest convenience, as it will directly guide my next steps.

    Thank you.
