Thanks Mark for taking the time to reply, this is really helpful. I am setting up my own firm next year so I would need a bit of a breather.

Tirthankar,
I had that exact scenario in 2015. I passed the 2nd exam in February 2015, and got my CMA certification in April 2015. I did not have any CPE requirement until the following year, 2016. So same would be true for you, if you pass in 2025, you won't have a CPE requirement to fulfill until 2026.

Hi,
I have a question regarding when will the CPE requirements begin. In the document you attached, it says," CPE requirements begin at the start of each calendar year once the certification is issued." So for example, my remaining part 2 exam is one Feb 2025 and my work-ex and education requirements are completed. So, if I do pass the exam, I should receive my CMA certificate in April 2025. Would my CPE requirements begin on Jan 1, 2026 or would I need to complete the 30 credits by Dec 31, 2025.
