  • 1.  Call for Papers: Accounting Education SIG Annual Conference 2026 & AGM

    Join us at the Annual Conference which will be held at the University of Sheffield, UK, from 20–22 May 2026. The AESIG AGM will take place during the conference. BAFA - BRITISH ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE ASSOCIATION -

    The conference is designed to provide:

    • a setting for discussions on a range of accounting education research issues, through full and emerging research papers;
    • an opportunity to showcase innovative learning and teaching practices in Accounting and Finance and to discuss the development of associated scholarship outputs;
    • an opportunity for researchers to develop research projects or discuss current work and research ideas;
    • an opportunity for accounting educators to identify partners (individuals or institutions) for collaborative research, and learning and teaching initiatives; and
    • an opportunity to join our network of support.

    Very interesting @Anna Vysotskaya — there are a number of terrific academicians across the SIGs and the IMA community in general.

    We collaborate all the time!  Both @Ahmad Jumah and @Monomita Nandy are excellent Professors who come to mind.

    Have you circulated this through other channels, other SIGs? 

    I am not sure if we can tag other SIGs in internal posts like this one, but I would share this with all the groups and place on LinkedIn as well.

    Awesome! 

    Thanks so much for this and for the suggestions – that's really helpful. I'll get to know of Ahmad and Monomita's work more and would be very happy to connect and explore ideas with them.

    I haven't shared this with other SIGs yet, so I'll definitely do that and also put it on LinkedIn as you recommend. If you can think of any specific groups or colleagues who might be especially interested, I'd really appreciate any pointers.
