Dear Invitee,
As a professor from the School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, my research colleagues and I kindly request your participation in a research study titled: Effects of COVID-19 on employee job satisfaction, job performance, and turnover intentions of accounting professionals moderated by organizational communication.
What is this survey about? The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of COVID-19 on employee behaviors of job satisfaction, job performance, and turnover intentions with consideration of the impact of organizational communication during these timeframes. We have a desired survey respondent response of at least 300 usable surveys. Usable surveys are surveys where invitees are working in accounting positions in NC public accounting firms, NC industry, or NC governmental agencies. All questions must be answered. Participation is completely voluntary, and you may withdraw from the study at any time. You must be 18 years or older to participate.
How am I compensated for my time? We value your time and participation. The study will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes, and you will enter into a drawing to potentially receive one of ten $100 Amazon e-gift cards* when you fully complete the survey. Therefore, you must complete all questions to be eligible to potentially receive one of the ten e-gift cards drawn. You are eligible to receive only one card. The e-gift card will be delivered by email within a month of you completing the survey. Therefore, the e-gift card will be delivered to the ten recipients no later than March 31, 2023.

*E-gift card entry is available to individuals who qualify for and successfully complete the survey. Qualification for the survey is based on a respondent being 18 years old or older and working as an accounting professional at a North Carolina public accounting firm, a North Carolina industry, or a North Carolina governmental agency. Successful completion is based on answering all questions. Individuals not qualifying for or not successfully completing the survey will not be entered into the drawing to potentially receive one of ten e-gift cards.
