As per a report by Deloitte on Global Human Capital trends of 2026, a human-centric focus can help organizations jump the curve.
(you can download the full report from the "Library" section of this forum)
As per the report, Organizations used to gain a competitive edge mainly by adopting new technologies, but technology alone is no longer enough because it can be easily replicated. The future of competitive advantage will come from strengthening the human edge - creativity, adaptability, and judgment.
This report has insights on:
1) how to maximize value of humans and machines working together
2) how do we know what is true about people and work
3) who is accountable when both humans and AI are making decisions
4) how is culture shifting when intelligent machines are part of the workforce
For me, the last two points are most intriguing.
I think decision making and culture shift are both areas that need intentional design, else they can morph into something completely unrecognizable and unmanageable. What do you think?
