Hello, everyone - spirited welcome to our Shared Interest Group(s) 🌍

We are grateful you're here. Our SIG is a global community of professionals who care about learning, connecting, while lifting and supporting each other through the amazing and tough times.

If you're new to IMA or have been part of the family for years, you belong here.

SIGs can become pathways to other appointments with the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), such as: Ethics, Volunteer Engagement & Communities, and other committees; including seasoned leadership roles at the Global Board of Directors and Board of Regents levels. As a group and one of your SIG champions - we want to personally invite you to engage:

• Join our monthly meetings 🌐 even an hour a month can expand your network and open unexpected doors.

• Engage with fellow members 🤝 comment, ask questions, share insights, or just say hi.

• Post interesting articles or topics 💬 whether you write your own thoughts or share something you found valuable, your voice matters.

• Practice your writing ✍️ consider contributing to Strategic Finance magazine or sharing short reflections here in the forum.

• Collaborate on events 🎤 help behind the scenes, moderate a session, or even join a panel with professionals from around the world.

• Explore leadership pathways 🚀 many of us, myself included, grew into larger IMA roles by starting right here in the SIG community.

Over the years, I've learned something simple but powerful: You get out of this community what you invest into it. Show up with humility, curiosity, and patience - and the community/we will meet you with opportunity, recognition, and growth. Applicable most everywhere in life 🤔

We are a global network of unique minds. Leverage that. In many cases it would be otherwise hard to connect with members of the board or with other influential folks - LinkedIn is impersonal, cold messaging doesn't work well with leaders. Use the IMA platform to your full advantage.

We're glad you're here. Let's build something meaningful together, just RAISE YOUR HAND 🤲✨

We of the Performance Management SIG actively encourage everyone to engage in any way you like. Passively attend our webinars, engage in our round tables, discuss on our board, or help organize our events. 

Currently we're eager to hear from members who like to help organize evens. Coordinator, moderator, speaker, etc.

Thank you Ilya for your positive and powerful message on IMA engagement.   It is important to USE your IMA membership by engaging and contributing, and thereby getting the most out of it.   

The Performance Management SIG would welcome members to join the SIG Leadership team to help generate and plan events and activities.   If you are interested let Hessel or I know.   We also welcome ideas for new sessions, discussions, etc.
